Cornerstone’s India office has three main community impact areas of focus that address the country’s needs.
Education – Purpose

Health & Medical – Purpose
To support the essential health needs of India, particularly for underprivileged economic groups.
Environment – Purpose
To give back to the environment by promoting sustainability and improving community wellbeing.

Long-term support for continued higher education, e.g., scholarship programs.

Partnerships with non-governmental organizations to support the needs of underprivileged hospitals, villages, and schools.

Long-term impact programs with the local city authorities and environmentalists, including volunteering opportunities.

Schools
Constructing washrooms in government schools to ensure children have access to quality sanitation.
Hearing
Providing hearing aids to children with hearing impairment.
Hospitals
Providing mobile services (such as X-ray devices) to cancer-related government hospitals.
Training and therapy
Offering sensitization training and therapy to adolescents to encourage them towards better habits.
Education and economic growth
Career building
Providing skills training in stitching to women to give them a sustainable source of income.
Students
Providing school bags and umbrellas to local schoolchildren.
Teachers
Training future kindergarten schoolteachers to ensure children have access to quality learning.
Schools
Installing the new classrooms and multipurpose sheds for Government schools.
Healthcare
COVID relief aid for orphanages and Cornerstone support staff.
Environment and community
Water
Developing water stewardship and purifying projects in rural areas.
Waste
In-office plastic reduction (prohibiting plastic materials) and trash pick-up campaigns.
Communities
Providing public benches to communities, which also include promotional campaign slogans for responsible social causes, such as sanitation and environmental sustainability.
Transportation
Managing public transportation efforts and reducing noise pollution by publicly campaigning with messaging, such as “no honking.”

Environmental sustainability workshops and training on tree planting, as well as providing resources, such as seeds and soil, to encourage planting.
