This year's Cornerstone Connect Live London was an absolute blast. There were smiles all around as we gathered for a truly one-of-a-kind experience! We couldn't have asked for a better setting than the iconic Stamford Bridge Stadium, home to Chelsea FC Women.

Cornerstone Connect Live isn't just your typical event; it's all about forging connections, sharing knowledge and diving headfirst into the future of talent management. And where better to do it than in the hallowed halls where football legends have left their mark?

Gathering our incredible community at Stamford Bridge was nothing short of magical. Walking through the same corridors as some of the greatest athletes in history and brainstorming innovative ideas in such an iconic setting, filled us with immense pride. It's an experience we'll hold dear for a lifetime and has set the bar high for our future endeavors. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this remarkable event possible!

Transforming the future of talent experiences opening keynote

Our CMO and host, Bernd Leger kickstarted the event with a memorable opening keynote, bringing in members of our Executive Leadership team one by one.

Cornerstone CEO, Himanshu Palsule, set the stage by sharing our vision for revolutionising the future of talent experiences, delving into the world of AI and how our solutions are designed to deliver engaging experiences that drive meaningful outcomes for your people and organisations. He expressed his gratitude for entrusting us with your talent strategy, unwavering pursuit of excellence and constant inspiration which fuels our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions for your organisations and workforce.

Karthik Suri, Chief Product Officer, spoke passionately about nurturing talent holistically in today's dynamic world. He emphasised the importance of putting 'You,' 'Me' and 'We' at the heart of talent management. Our Talent Experience Platform, he explained, integrates these facets to empower your workforce, foster individual growth and drive collective intelligence for business resilience.

Customer centricity is not a mere buzzword

At Cornerstone, customer centricity isn't just a buzzword—it's our driving force. Chief Customer Officer Toya Del Valle put it best when she said, "Customer centricity is not a buzzword but a deeply held delight that drives every decision, innovation, and interaction at Cornerstone." She shared how our teams continuously enhance customer support, ensure success and optimise our service departments to exceed your expectations. Plus, she offered insights into the wealth of customer resources at your disposal and how best to leverage them for mutual growth.

Customer Insights Panel: Shaping the Future

Vincent Belliveau, Chief International Officer, led a captivating customer insights panel. He highlighted the importance of a comprehensive talent management program for your people to realise their full potential and for you, as a talent leader, to gauge the effectiveness of your current strategy. Vincent shared eye-opening insights from the 2023 Global Talent Health Index, demonstrating the substantial confidence gap between High-Performing Organisations and others.

Vincent gained invaluable insights from three prominent HR and learning leaders, from Schneider Electric, SKY and Chelsea FC who discussed the dynamic trends shaping their industries and the strategic approaches propelling their organisations forward. They shared how they harness the power of Cornerstone to turn possibilities into realities, from innovative strategies to engaging experiences that resonate with their workforce.

Knowledge-filled breakout sessions

Breakout sessions at Connect Live offer attendees a unique opportunity to delve deeper into themed topics, providing a platform for gaining valuable knowledge and deeper insights.

This year, attendees had the opportunity to learn about creating skills-based organisations, going beyond basics to assess skill maturity, developing future-focused strategies and cultivating internal champions for transformation. Additionally, they explored the transformative role of AI in learning and talent experiences, witnessing live demos of AI-powered features that enhance personalisation and efficiency across the talent journey from hiring to retirement.

Talent Health Index: Your holistic guide toward talent success

In a brief workshop, Global VP of Innovation Mike Bollinger unveiled the top findings from Cornerstone's 2023 Global Talent Health Index (THI). This global research report offers insights into the state of talent programs worldwide, providing a valuable model for creating a holistic and thriving talent program.

Mike emphasised the significant disparity between High-Performing Organisations and others, showcasing their success in closing the skills confidence gap and driving employee satisfaction, retention, productivity and revenue growth.

Attendees were allowed to understand the health of their talent programs by taking a free self-assessment.

Chelsea FC Legends and Q&A with the ELT

Our event was graced by Carly Telford, a remarkable goalkeeper, who engaged in a lively discussion with our Chief Marketing Officer, Bernd Leger. Carly proudly represented the England women's national football team and achieved remarkable success at the club level. Carly's incredible journey and emphasis on empowerment and opportunities for women resonated deeply with Cornerstone's values, making for an inspiring conversation.

As we concluded #CSODConnect2023, we found ourselves with newfound connections and enriched learning experiences. Our journey was encapsulated in a memorable closing keynote, where our executive leadership team—Himanshu Palsule, Toya Del Valle, Karthik Suri, Vincent Belliveau and Bernd Leger—delved deeper into our shared experience through a vibrant and interactive Q&A session. This dynamic conclusion left everyone with lasting insights and connections to cherish.
