It’s no secret that we are all navigating an ever-evolving business landscape, with change acting as the one constant driving our journey. But this continuous change and workplace transformation goes beyond technological innovations or geopolitical shifts. It boils down to one truth: there is a fundamental difference in how we are working, learning and growing today.
For us, one word captured the essence of what Q2 was all about as we navigated these ongoing workplace changes: agility.
Agility is reflected in our product innovation, in our outlook on the future of work and in our belief in what will solve so many of the workplace changes and challenges that organizations face today.
In Q2, we didn’t shy away from this change but rather embraced it, building solutions and plans around it that would provide our customers and our people with the tools and insights needed to thrive and remain agile through every twist and turn.
Let’s dive into everything Cornerstone was up to in Q2...

When we weren’t busy traveling the globe, we also announced a pretty monumental launch...
Cornerstone Galaxy — our new, AI-powered workforce agility platform — hit the scene in Q2 and made quite a splash. Aimed at solving the workforce readiness gap (which has created a growing imbalance between the skills demanded by the future and our capacity to meet them), Cornerstone Galaxy helps organizations break down their barriers to transformation by identifying skills shortages currently undermining their ability to sustain corporate performance.
With the launch of Cornerstone Galaxy, we’re proud to say we are actively making it easier than ever for our customers to elevate their people, support their skilling and development and transform their workforces to continually adapt, thrive and grow. Because at Cornerstone, we truly believe that when people are at their best, organizations are at their best.
In tandem with our Galaxy launch, we also released our 2024 Workforce Readiness Gap Report in partnership with Lighthouse Research. Diving even deeper into the contributing factors of today’s workforce readiness gap, this report helps organizations across the globe better understand the impact of workforce agility and the role it can play in employee and organizational success.
Did you know that less than half of employers know of existing skills gaps inside their organization and fully leverage those in their talent development strategies? This striking lack of skills awareness means organizations can't train, empower or effectively activate their people to adapt to changing business needs.
In Q2, our endless pursuit to help our customers become agile and build skills-based organizations took a giant leap forward as we announced the acquisition of SkyHive, an AI-powered skills intelligence platform. With the addition of new skills intelligence capabilities and a team of highly specialized domain experts, we’re excited to say that we have accelerated our reskilling capabilities with predictive labor market intelligence, automated job architecture management, rapid skill proficiency detection, and other services to help our customers create agile, future-ready workforces.
The enhancements across our product portfolio continued in Q2 with the launch of Cornerstone Learning Fundamentals. An all-in-one learning solution for mid-sized organizations, Learning Fundamentals combines out-of-the-box, pre-packaged learning management products and services, expertly curated learning pathways, and a consumer-grade learner experience.
We know that mid-sized organizations need to deploy training and provide development opportunities to retain their high performers, just like larger enterprises. We also know that for organizations to provide their people with the strongest skills development opportunities, they need a solution that helps them ramp up quickly and grow with their changing needs. That’s why we’re so proud to bring Learning Fundamentals to the table, to give our customers a greater opportunity to deliver essential training while providing personalized and engaging learning experiences to their employees.
