Everything Cornerstone was up to in Q1 (We're biased, but it's all pretty great)

Online learning growth, customer-centric product innovations, industry recognition, the planned acquisition of EdCast and more!

Cornerstone Editors

If our Q1 2022 trends are any indication, there's a rising demand at organizations for strategies and technologies that connect skills, learning, people experience and organizational agility.

We think that's because people want their organization to invest in their skill growth and many organizations heard them and are evolving to meet these needs.

Here are a few of the milestones we hit this quarter:

  • Accelerated online learning content adoption
  • Customer-driven enhancements to our product portfolio
  • Expansive industry recognition for product leadership and customer satisfaction
  • Pending strategic acquisition of EdCast to accelerate a shared vision for reimagining people's growth experiences at work
  • New efforts to support and train humanitarian aid workers in Ukraine via the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation

Learning content consumption has accelerated all quarter

As the year kicked off, we saw a double-digit year-over-year increase in learning content consumption and increased time spent on learning across our 75M-strong global customer base.

Most of these learners took advantage of Cornerstone Content Anytime (CCA) because of its engaging content. We saw learners build new skills, better themselves and work to minimize bias and maximize inclusivity.

Top 3 CCA categories

  1. Remote work
  2. Mental health and wellness
  3. Unconscious bias

But that wasn't the only content we saw learners really engaging with this quarter. The award-winning content produced by Cornerstone Originals was a hit with nearly every demographic.

A new season of the original series DNA entitled DNA: Sustainability all about creating a sustainable workplace was a certified hit, as was our exclusive partnership with genre-defining podcast Masters of Scale — a podcast all about how to think boldly and differently about the world.

We also released free learning content on Cornerstone Cares to support self-care and building resilience in times of crisis.

But it wasn't just in the office/home office that created an incredible impact in organizations. In response to world events, the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation teamed up with its partners in Ukraine, including International Medical Corps, Mercy Corps and The KonTerra Group, to provide free, essential training in localized languages for humanitarian aid workers.

And all of that was just in Q1! This next quarter has a lot to live up to if it plans to do even more. And it will because our plans are already in motion to have an even better Q2. That's how companies work!

Product enhancements and adoption drive customer ROI and growth

Not to be outdone by all our new offerings, the Cornerstone products you know all got better this quarter too.
