Choosing Cornerstone
With these challenges in mind, the Council recognised that its partnership with its vendor risked exacerbating issues, and impacting its goals; to mitigate this, the HR team decided to evidence the need for a different solution to leaders, and ultimately suggest re-implementing TalentLink.
Due to Luton Council’s previous success using Cornerstone TalentLink, it was already a popular and well-loved solution amongst the HR team. As such, the Council decided to re-implement Cornerstone TalentLink to overcome its challenges and better support employees and candidates.
Alongside this, the team outlined the need for investment in its people, such as talent acquisition specialists, in order to improve its recruitment and help the Council deliver on its 2040 vision.
