Borusan Cat, as a Türkiye-based company with operations mainly in the Caucasus and Central Asia, with the company purpose "We Create Solutions for a Better World", operates in the construction, resource, energy and transportation industries with 3,000 colleagues.In addition to Caterpillar products, it also operates as the distributor of FG Wilson, one of the world's leading generator brands.

Obviously, managing a workforce that big over a region that wide comes with a great deal of complexities. Borusan Cat recognized the need for a robust solution to enhance their L&D operations and drive organizational efficiency. This realization marked the beginning of their journey towards leveraging Cornerstone's suite of products to catalyze their transformation and set the stage for unparalleled success.

Ilke Öztürk, Borusan Cat’s Global Learning Experience and Technology Leader, embodies the company's commitment to collective learning and growth. Moreover, more than half of Borusan Cat’s workforce engaged in field operations, including sales consultants and technicians, there are unique challenges associated with training and developing employees who operate outside traditional office settings.

In addition to internal considerations, Borusan Cat faced mounting pressure to meet the evolving demands of its customer base. Öztürk noted, “The Learning Experience Platform (LXP) helped us a lot through customized pathways.” This tailored approach ensured that employees received the most relevant content, enhancing their learning experience.

When we checked our content activity KPIs, we noticed that user-generated content created by our employees accounted for around 89% of all content consumption,” Öztürk added.
